We Flung Money at It, But No Job Done: Checkatrade Fiasco.

My rundown with Checkatrade was a complete shambles. I engaged a trader through their platform to carry out some essential home repairs. They appeared trustworthy at first, but it resulted in a appalling ordeal.

Even though I sent the full amount upfront, the work never started. Communication ceased. It's been a truly agonizing period, and I'm still left with a house in disarray.

The platform itself has been useless throughout this whole process. They laughed at my plight. It feels like I've been taken advantage of.

  • Don't fall into the same trap I did.
  • Let others know about this scam.
